He is tasked with launching Contexte’s first English-language editorial coverage on European public policy, alongside two English-speaking journalists and an editor-translator. This first vertical, to launch in spring, will focus on energy. He will lead and coordinate the work of his team with that of the two French-speaking journalists already based in Brussels who cover these issues for the France edition.
“Jack’s arrival marks a key milestone, affirming our European ambition. We are building a newsroom that is both multilingual and multicultural, where French-and English-speaking journalists work together to provide expert, wide-ranging, and relevant coverage of European public policy. This exchange of perspectives makes us better able to address Europe’s complex challenges with both a local and global approach.”
— Clémentine Forissier, Editorial Director.
